Expand Your Wardrobe Without Buying Anything New

December 09, 2021

It’s sale time and I could have sent an email about the ‘Top 10 things to buy in the sales’ but I wouldn’t do that.

Because one person’s top 10 things is another person’s waist of money.

So instead of encouraging you to shop the sales, I am encouraging you to shop your wardrobe

Even I fall into the habit of wearing my clothes in only one way… just yesterday I was wearing a pair of Rejina Pro trousers in the way I always wear them. But I know there are other possibilities within my wardrobe to make them work.

✅ Here’s how to shop your wardrobe…🛍

Step 1. Give yourself 20 minutes to make at least 2 new outfits. Set your timer ⏱

Step 2. Choose the item you want to wear more 👖

Step 3. Start pairing it with items you wear every day 👚

Step 4. When in doubt go tonal with the colours. It looks chic and thoughtful 💙💙

Step 5. Don’t forget about the shoe! You don’t have an outfit without a shoe! 🥿

Step 6. Photograph it 📸

Get in the habit of doing this once a week for 20 minutes.

It takes practice and retraining your brain

Learning is how you evolve… Unlearning is how you keep up as the world evolves.

But once you start to wear your existing items in different ways, you’ll feel like your wardrobe has expanded and your existing items will feel like new without you having bought anything new!

Understand yourself and how you like to wear clothes you already own.

This is how to become a GREAT shopper and save money!

P.S. If you don’t feel confident doing this alone, I offer 1 hour styling sessions which can be done virtually. Book your Elevate Hour here.

P.P.S I have something else coming that will help you. 22.02.22
