Aussie Rules: Packing For Sydney
I’m off to Sydney… in fact, I’ll be in Sydney when you get this.
Packing For Sydney
When I’m packing my suitcase, I always try to tap into that perfect balance Sydney does so well — coastal ease with a sense of city polish.
Aussie brands are often my go-to when dressing clients for sunny escapes, but what I love most is how easily those same pieces work back in London, especially during our (very short, occasionally stifling) summer.
It’s that mix of laid-back coastal style and refined city dressing that transitions so well.
I don’t prioritise shopping when I’m there — it feels a bit too much like work — but I do love sharing my favourites with you.
And while almost everything is available online now (damn the internet for killing the discovery of truly local brands), I’ve included a few genuinely independent labels that haven’t made it onto the big global platforms like Net-a-Porter… yet.
If I come across anything truly local while I’m out there, I’ll be sure to share it when I’m back.
Harris Tapper is a recent discovery but, a slight cheat as they’re actually from New Zealand. I have labelled other labels from our close cousins with a (NZ).
